Having grown up in a small town in central Oregon set at the beautiful meeting point of forest, mountain, and high desert, Dan became aware at an early age of a sense of place, and how it is affected by geography, natural beauty, and the human to human connection of community in a small town. Dan learned early on to savor a hard work ethic; an appreciation for rural, western beauty; and the taste of strong black coffee. Evidence of this can be seen in his design work, where he uses his elevated attention to detail, unique approach to visual storytelling, and a focus on meeting the needs of others.
